CLIENT

Buzzi Unicem

LOCATION

Missouri

Buzzi Unicem partnered with Vestal to execute a major dust collection system upgrade at its cement manufacturing facility. The project involved the design and integration of large-scale air handling equipment, structural systems, and high-temperature ductwork to enhance environmental performance and support ongoing plant operations.

scope of work:

The project included a field-erected dust collector, 2,000 HP and 1,250 HP medium-voltage blowers, a foundation for a 250-foot-tall exhaust stack, and high-temperature ductwork ranging from 5 to 10 feet in diameter. Vestal also coordinated the integration of heavy mechanical equipment, structural steel supports, and foundation systems required to support long-term industrial performance.

Services Provided:

Vestal provided architecture and engineering services for a comprehensive dust collection system upgrade within an active cement manufacturing environment.

Project impact

The upgraded dust collection system enhanced emission control capabilities while strengthening the reliability of critical plant infrastructure. Through coordinated engineering and industrial design, the project delivered a durable solution capable of supporting demanding operating conditions and ongoing manufacturing requirements.
