This project expanded the facility's bulk cement storage and distribution capabilities through the addition of new storage silos and truck loadout infrastructure. Designed to integrate with existing plant operations, the facility provides reliable storage capacity and efficient truck loading functionality while supporting the continuous movement of materials throughout the production and distribution process.

scope of work:

Vestal provided integrated civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering services, along with construction administration, for a cement storage and truck loadout facility at Ash Grove Cement's Waco plant. The project included the detailed design of two 23-foot-diameter, 50-foot-tall cement storage bins, supporting structural steel systems, and drilled-shaft foundations to support material storage, handling, and loadout operations.
